Wisbech Swimming Club gain Revalidation by Swim 21.

Wisbech Swimming Club has successfully gained Revalidation for Swim 21 as a Club that is committed to providing safe, effective and quality services for the benefit of their members for the second year. The presentation folder prepared by the members of the WSC Swim 21 committee was deemed of such quality, that it will be presented to Regional and National panels next month as an example of good practice, a credit to all those involved.

The revalidation means that WSC can continue to apply for funding to train coaches and teachers within the club, enabling its members to continue enjoying very high standards of teaching and reach their optimum performance at all levels of swimming.  Furthermore, the club is recognised by other local, regional and national swimming organisations due to the accreditation by Swim 21.

Learn to Swim!

The club teaches children to swim on three evenings per week and Sunday lunch-time. Minimum age is 5 years and maximum age approximately 9 years. For times and charges see training times page.

All teaching is carried out by qualified ASA teachers who have been CRB checked and the club follows the guidelines of the ASA teaching plan.
