Aspire Swim the
Channel Challenge.
Wisbech
swimmers swam 35,200mtrs
each as they took
part in the Aspire Swim the Channel Challenge
held over November and December. Swimmers from the Squad that accepted
the
challenge totalled up their metres swum during training sessions and it
only
took them two weeks to amass the required distance. The small pool
swimmers
also contributed by holding Spooky Swims during their lessons which
involved
all kinds of fun activities and games. Altogether the swimmers at the
club
raised an amazing total of £500.
